Fast Plant Report
Mountain Shadows Middle Schoolers planted their Fast Plant seeds in February using soil from 6 locations on our campus. They watered and and waited, waited, and waited for them to sprout. As of March 15, there was no "action" to report. I am wondering if our 120 + degree heat last summer, while the seeds were tucked away in their envelope at school with no air conditioning, did them in. They would not be alone, as the unusually high heat wave was responsible for destruction across southern California. Regretfully, Lynn Hammonds Mountain Shadows Middle School Nuevo, CA
