Sebastian River Middle School and Hiroshima Motomachi Senior High School held our monthly video conference on December 13/14.

After greeting each other, students from each school made presentations on the pair projects. Motomachi Senior High Students students went first and Sebastian River Middle School students followed after they were finished.

Our pair project consisted of studying and photographing animals and plants that are closely associated with the water. Motomachi students had the photos of their animals nicely done on a slide show so our students could view them. Sebastian River students held photos of the animals and plants close to the camera so the Motomachi students could see them easily. One student would hold the photo while another student would read a brief description of each animal or plant. Sebastian River students presented about two dozen animal and plant photos and descriptions.

After the pair projects, there were a few minutes left for other things. Two students students from Sebastian River Middle School sang a Christmas carol. One student showed some of his Japanese writing practice papers. Another student attempted to play a guitar solo at the end.
